The sun is shining!!

It's exciting to see the sun and spend some time outside learning. We hope to do a lot more of this as we head into Spring!!

What a treat for Monday morning news - we got to see Callum, Toa and Mitchell's medals from rugby and Cooper's medal from T-ball. Well done boys!

Olympics Celebration

Here is Studio 6 getting ready to go into the hall. 

Ben said "It was awesome to carry the flag!"

We were very proud of the torch bearer, our very own Courtney. She said "It was so fun to put the flame on!"

Here we all are in the hall. Erin said "It was awesome" and Ethan liked the music.

Here is Studio 5's cool Chinese dragon. Toa thinks it would be cool if it could blow fire!

This is Finn juggling. Wow! He was so good. Erin thought it was funny!

Willy liked when Finn juggled the 'bowling pins'.

Here is Studio 6 after the ceremony. We did a great job dressing in Madagascar's colors!

Maths Reflection

Ring - tailed Lemur

We have been learning about the ring-tailed Lemur in Studio 6 because it is native to Madagascar.
Emily from Studio 17 came to share with us this morning her knowledge of the lemurs and she had done this awesome poster about them. Thanks for sharing Emily - we learnt heaps :-)

'Ethan said that they come from Madagascar.
Erin said that when they walk around their tails stick up in the air.
Mitchell said they can climb trees.
Liam said that ring tailed lemurs live in Madagascar and they climb trees.
Joe said the ring tailed lemurs have one or two babies.
Callum said they are black, white and grey and they have yellow around their eyes.
Courtney said they can sit on trees.
Benjamin said they have black and white rings around their tails.'
